Analyzing Assessment Practices for Indigenous Students

The purpose of this article is to review common assessment practices for Indigenous students. We start by presenting positionalities—our personal and professional background identities. Then we explain terms associated with Indigeneity Western worldviews. describe the meaning document analysis, chosen qualitative research design, explicate delimitations limitations paper. literature revealed four main themes. First, subjugated a worldview. Next, many linguistic disadvantage students, language-specific culture-laden standardized tests are often discriminatory.
